Exhibition on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the emergence of the optical industry in Czechoslovakia and the establishment of Opticotechna / Meopta in Přerov. The aim of this unique collaboration between the space studio of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University and its students, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Institute of Instrumentation, the Stunning Physics Theater of ÚdiF and the traditional producer of precision optics - Meopta - optika, s.r.o. is to popularize the technical fields and science among children seeking their study direction. The exhibition returns to the history and roots of Czech optical production, playing realistic products with optical and physical phenomena. It meets the current state-of-the-art products produced in a laboratory environment with an accuracy of one thousandths of a millimeter with products we all know from our past. Educationally, the exhibition attracts attention to technical disciplines where there is now a major shortage of educated young people.
